Gray-scale submission of Hyperliquid staking ETF fifth revision document, intending to use 2 million HYPE as seed assets
Bloomberg senior ETF analyst James Seyffart disclosed that Grayscale Investments has submitted the fifth amendment document (Amendment No. 5) for the Hyperliquid Staking ETF to the U.S. SEC, with the fund code still being HYPG. The document shows that the ETF still plans to use approximately 2 million HYPE tokens as seed assets, valued at about $130 million based on current prices.
However, as of now, key information such as the management fee rate has not been disclosed in the document. James Seyffart stated that this amendment appears to be a minor adjustment, format optimization, and technical modification in response to potential SEC comments, with no substantial changes found compared to the version submitted the previous day. The core content disclosed in the previous document, including the HYPE staking mechanism and seed asset arrangements, remains unchanged.
