According to Tristan Thompson's disclosure on social media, he has established a short position in HYPE, shorting around $66.95 with 50x leverage, and setting a stop-loss around $68.
Thompson stated that this trade is a short-term bearish operation, rather than a shift to a pessimistic view on HYPE's long-term prospects. He believes that HYPE still has upward potential over a longer time frame, but after a rapid price increase in the short term, a pullback may occur, which is why he chose to engage in intraday or short-term short trading.
Recently, HYPE has continued to strengthen and has repeatedly refreshed its historical highs, with a clear intensification of the game between bulls and bears regarding its subsequent trend.
